Fort Irwin, California – Hotels, Lodging, Inns

The Army's Fort Irwin National Training Center is located in the Mojave Desert in southern California. It lies between Death Valley National Park to the north and the Mojave National Preserve to the southeast.

The front gate is on the south side of the post, about 40 miles north of I-15, I-40, and the City of Barstow.

One hotel, the Landmark Inn, is located on the post. It has 180 rooms and is open to the public if you have a guaranteed reservation. Simply drive to the front gate and the guard will confirm your reservation by calling the hotel.

There are also several hotels and motels in the City of Barstow, which is located just north of the junction of I-15 and I-40.
